We spent Thanksgiving weekend at Gigi's. Mamaw and Papaw were also there. It was a great weekend with family. We tried REALLY hard to take a picture with Gigi and the kiddos but the youngest did not want to work with the camera (maybe this year she will work with us).

Olivia Grace performed in the Pre-K Thanksgiving performance at school. They were all so cute dressed up as little Indians. The sang 4 songs. We were so proud of our "Dancing Butterfly."

Magic Kingdom

On our last day Olivia Grace got to see her favorite Princess Tiana. She was so VERY excited to meet her and her Prince. We had such a wonderful time at Disney. I wouldn't trade that time with Olivia Grace for anything. To see the smile on her face was priceless. The magical feeling of our trip was was truly amazing. We can't wait to go back and take Annalyse with us!!!

Dinner in the Castle

After Olivia Grace had her princess photo shoot we went to dine with Cinderella and the other Princesses. We had a fabulous dinner at Cinderella's Royal Table. I think Brent and I were as excited about being in the castle as Olivia Grace. Everything was so "over the top." I have to say that our dinner was actually great. The Princesses were as sweet and beautiful as ever. I do have to say our little princess looked absolutely adorable.

We made a trip to the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique while we were at the Magic Kingdom. Oh I just can't put it into words how wonderful this experience was for me. I think I was as excited as Olivia Grace. This truly made tears come to my eyes. Oh it was just TOO magical. Even though it made her look too old, I just thought she was the most beautiful princess ever. The night before we went to a huge Disney store and let her pick out a new princess dress (a "real" princess dress). So she picked Princess Tiana from the Princess and The Frog. The package we bought at the boutique included her hair and make-up. Olivia Grace left the boutique feeling very special.

Magic Kingdom

After our tea at the Grand Floridian we headed to the Magic Kingdom. We were SO excited!!! We spent the afternoon riding some rides and figuring out the lay of the park. We then had a great dinner at The Crystal Palace. This was a character meal also. We got to dine with Pooh, Tiger, Eeyore, and Piglet. We called it a day and headed to the pool at our resort!!

Grand Floridian Tea

We attended a tea at the Grand Floridian with Sleeping Beauty. All I can say is that it was so magical and worth every penny. Rose Petal met each girl and crowned them. They then announced each princess as she entered the tea. As we were seated Olivia Grace was given a beautiful Sleeping Beauty doll and bracelet. We had our tea as Rose Petal sang/told the story of Sleeping Beauty. Then Sleeping Beauty joined the tea. It was precious and brought happy tears to her Mommy's eyes. Wonderful memories!!

We had dinner one evening at Chef Mickey's. The characters were fun and the view of Cinderella's castle was fabulous. The food on the other hand - not so good!!

First Princess Dinner

This was our first dinner with the Princesses. It was a little girls dream! To be dinning with Belle, Sleeping Beauty,Snow White, and Ariel (we were all in heaven). In November we took Olivia Grace to Disney World. Annalyse stayed with Mimi and Papaw for the first half of the week and then with Gigi (at Mamaw and Papaw's) the second half of the week. Olivia Grace's 5th birthday was October 3rd. We had a super day celebrating such a sweet little girl. We started the morning off with church (took her favorite blueberry muffins for her class). Then we had a great lunch outside with Dukes, Aunt Ellen, and Jordan. Olivia Grace's request was a Hello Kitty cake - so that is what we had. After Dukes, Ellen, and Jordan headed back to Little Rock we headed to the pumpkin patch and corn maze with the Denton's. It was such a beautiful day outside. It was a perfect afternoon to go. Olivia Grace enjoyed it all!! God has blessed us so mcuh with Olivia Grace. She is such a sweet spirited little girl. Every day she reminds me how lucky I am. I just can't believe she is 5. Happy Birthday sweet girl. Mommy, Daddy, and Annlayse love you SO mcuh!!!!

Way back in September (I've never been this far behind on blogging) was the Arkansas vs. Alabama game. Gigi and Becky (Alabama fan) came up for the weekend. The Greenfield's, Burroughs, and McGuire's came over for our annual tailgating party. We had a great time, even if Alabama beat us!!!

8 Months

Annalyse has turned 8 months (I am just a little late on posting). This last month has been so much fun. Annalyse is just as busy as ever. She is crawling all over the place, pulling up on anything she can, and cruising around the furniture. She is a good eater. She likes her cereal, veggies, fruit, and yogurt. Solid table foods are not her favorite yet. I am still nursing and supplementing with formula. This month I will begin to go to formula only (have to have her weened before November because of vacation). So I hope Annalyse is ready for that. Annalyse is now a great sleeper. No more getting up in the night!!!! She is taking a morning and afternoon naps. Oh, she is so much fun!! We all just love her so much.

Shiloh Saints

Last Friday Olivia Grace had a fabulous day. She started off the morning with the Shiloh Saints football team signing the kids shirts. Shiloh was playing Greenwood that night (was a big, big game for both teams). We got out of the car and headed towards the HUGE football helmet. Then we started getting signatures (including #15 the star quarterback). Not that OG even knew what the big deal was, she just thought it was neat for someone to sign her shirt (she thought it tickled). Then we headed inside to buy a tattoo from the cheerleaders. We then found her 2 new friends (Anna and Zoe Grace). She comes home talking about them ALL of the time. That afternoon the classes all got to go to the pep rally. OG said the cheerleaders did a dance. Later that evening we all headed to the game for tailgating and part of the game. Oh she loved it!! Oh and Shiloh won!!

Knowing Jesus

We headed to Mansfield a couple of weeks ago so that we could see Colton be baptised. With us talking about Colton's decision to ask Jesus into his heart, Olivia Grace has had MANY questions. She asked how she could have Jesus in her heart. We have talked about what it means but she doesn't understand. I am just grateful that we have already started having these discussion with OG. This is my #1 prayer for my girls. That they will some day come to the point in their life that they know they are sinners and that they know Jesus is the only One that can save them from their sins. I want to know they will spend eternity in heaven.

Reptile Party

What a fun birthday party!!! Caleb and Noah had their birthday party this past weekend. I have to say it was so perfect for them both. I have NEVER seen anyone love bugs, turtles, critters, etc.. more than the 2 of them. So for their party they had the reptile man come and bring snakes, an alligator, and a huge spider. Of course OG was not afraid of any of them (unlike her Momma). Most of the kids loved holding the snakes and a few held the alligator. Happy birthday Caleb (6 yrs) and Noah (3 yrs). You both are so special to us!!

We have been a little on the busy side lately. We had Blakely's 5th and Lilly's 3rd birthday parties a few weekend ago. It was a pool party, but it was thundering so the kids didn't get so swim. I felt so sorry for all of the kids but they had fun just playing together. It is so hard to believe our big girls are starting to turn 5. Blakely is always the first of the birthdays. October will be here before we know it!!!

Pre-K

Olivia Grace started Pre-K yesterday!! This year she is going to Shiloh Christian (at our church). She will be going 3 days a week from 8-3. So a big change for all of us. This year OG is wearing uniforms which makes getting ready pretty simple. Last Friday Olivia Grace got to meet her teacher Mrs. Brunton and to see her room. This made the first day very comfortable for her. After we got her things put in the correct spot OG sat down at her table and began coloring a picture. I think I would have stayed longer but OG didn't seem to need me and Brent gave me the "look." I was so excited for 3:00 to roll around. When I picked her up she had the biggest smile across her face. She said she loved it! She even began chanting Shiloh Saints!! Of course she said she couldn't remember what they did, but throughout the afternoon she would "remember" things she did during the day. She did say that she wanted to get a tray lunch in the cafeteria. I knew that would start, so today she got to get a tray. I just can't believe she is old enough to be in Pre-K. I really will be sad next year when she will be gone every day. It just starts a new chapter of our lives.

The Lake

Tuesday Mimi and Papaw brought the boys up for a fun day on the lake. We pretty much had the lake to ourselves. The kids were either swimming or on the tube the entire day. It was fun and relaxing!

Branson Weekend

This past weekend we headed to Branson. Papaw and Mimi were going for the car show, so we decided to go too. Saturday Brent and the girls went with Mimi and Papaw to a car show. While they were there I went shopping (yes by myself and didn't buy ANYTHING/ random I know). Saturday evening Brent and I took OG to White Water. We had a great time and the weather was actually pretty nice. Saturday night we went down on the strip to watch the show cars and ate ice cream. The girls and I didn't attempt to make it to the midnight car parade. Then on Sunday we went to Silver Dollar City. It was hot, but not as hot as it had been. Olivia Grace was so excited that she rode on the "big roller coaster" (Thunderation). When she got off she said, "That was AWESOME!" I didn't do well taking pictures. Maybe I was too hot for that.

7 Months

Last Friday Annalyse turned 7 months old. So hard to believe! Now she is on the GO!!! Last month she began sitting up on her own (which was so nice). To get anywhere she would roll. Now she is crawling! This last week she got it!! This morning she crawled from the living room to Olivia Grace's bathroom. She doesn't want to miss ANYTHING! She is still nursing and eating baby foods great. We started a sippycup with water this last week (haven't gotten that down yet). Annalyse still loves her bath. I can't get her in there fast enough for her. We are still working on sleeping through the night (I believe I said that last month). Fingers crossed, maybe it will be this month!

Visit To Little Rock

Last week the girls and I headed to Little Rock. It was great to be at Gigi's house. We had a great visit with many friends that we had not seen in a while. Some of the things we did: lunch with Dukes; visiting the McGuire's and their new baby Laney; dinner with my childhood best friend Lindsey and my other 2 Mom's (Karen and Becky); lunch at Jaime's restaurant Touchdown Sally's; play time at the Hart's; lots of time with Gigi, Aunt Ellen, and Jordan; Annalyse got her first baby; 2 flat tires (yes I think it was sabotage). So a great week in Little Rock (well everything EXCEPT the flat tires).

The Armstrongs

We are so sad!!!! Our dear friends and neighbors have moved to Maryland. We met the Armstrong's about 3 years ago when they moved to NWA. Olivia Grace became friends with Kathleen and Emily instantly. I became friends with their Mommy (Kimberly) instantly too. Emily and OG were 2 days apart. They played so well together. So the last couple of weeks we have tried to cram in as much time together as possible. We are planning a trip to Maryland in the spring so we can see them. We will miss you guys!!!

6 Months

Oh it is so hard to believe!!!! Annalyse is 6 months old (last week). She went this week for her 6 months check-up. She weighs 15 lbs. 13.5 oz. That puts her in the 50 percentile for weight and she is 45 percentile for height. Miss Annalyse is a healthy little girl. We started feeding her veggies and fruits this month. Her favorites are green peas, sweet potatoes, and pears. She usually eats cereal (with apples) for breakfast and some fruits and veggies for dinner. I guess I will have to start getting some lunch down her sooner or later. Annalyse is still nursing. I cannot believe this!!! I have made it 6 months. My plan was to make it to the 6 month mark, so now (I guess) it will be 9 months. Then I am finished!!!We aren't crawling yet, but she is rolling all over the place. Sitting up is right around the corner. If Olivia Grace has anything to do with it she will be sitting up on her own in a matter of days. So we shall see. One thing I would like to see change this month is to see this precious little girl SLEEP THROUGH THE NIGHT!!!!!! Yes she is waking up 2 times most nights. Mommy is beyond tired. Yes I am sure you are asking yourself, "shouldn't a pediatricians child be sleeping through the night after the first week?" Well, WRONG!!!! Not the case here. Tired or not I am soaking up every second with Annalyse!!

Skating Rink

Last night we went skating!!! Brent's clinic always has a family work party in the summer. So they rented out the new skating rink in Fayetteville. We had considered doing this for OG's birthday but after last night we definitely will stick to the swimming party. Just a little too young!! She did get the hang of it after she used this "walker" thing that they had for kids. She took a couple of falls but she says that she loved it. She asked if we could go after church today. So it looks like we will be skating again!!

Last weekend we went over to some friends house from church for a family swimming party. Olivia Grace had never jumped off of a diving board until that night and she loved it!!! Her and Brent even tried some double jumping together. I just had to posted this picture of the watermelon cake that Heather made. It was so cute and festive!!!

4th of July

We had a wonderful 4th of July weekend. We started the weekend off with Colton and Chandlan staying the night with us. Olivia Grace and the boys played non-stop as usual. Then on Friday we headed to meet Papaw and Mimi at the lake. Later that evening the rest of the Silvey clan and Gigi came to the lake. That night we went out on the boat for our first fireworks show. It was pretty good. The best part was being on the lake at night. Olivia Grace spent the night with the boys at the camper. Saturday we woke up to rain (yuck for lake plans). So Brent, Gigi, Annalyse, and myself went shopping until the rain stopped. We then headed back out to the lake for our second fireworks show on the lake. Sunday we went to church for a wonderful Hero's celebration. It was awesome!! Then back to the lake for some sun and fun (finally). Sunday night we went to the CPH for our 3rd fireworks show. This one was awesome!!! There were 79 baptisms under the crosses and then a spectacular fireworks presentation. We are so blessed to be a part of an awesome church!! It was a busy weekend but fun. I just didn't get my camera out until the end. I'll do better next time.

Tennis

Olivia Grace has been taking tennis lessons this summer. She has enjoyed it so much. Watching her makes me have tennis fever again. So my plan is to start back this fall on a tennis league.

Well I am way behind on blogging. Olivia Grace had her 3rd dance recital the day after we got back from the beach. She did a great job! Her group did 2 dances. As always she had a huge "fan club" there!! She still says that she doesn't want to go to dance next year. But we were so proud of her.

5 Months

Annalyse turned 5 months old a little over a week ago. She has grown SO much this month. She has changed in so many ways. She now can play in her ExerSaucer. She loves it!! She has found her toes and likes to put them in her mouth. She has also found her ear (especially when she is tired). The best thing is that she has learned to entertain herself with toys when she is riding in the car. Not to say that we don't have our "moments" in the car, but it is MUCH better. She learned how to roll over (both ways) about 3 weeks ago. Olivia Grace always informs us when she rolls over. Annalyse has pretty much decided that she likes to sleep on her side or her stomach (makes me nervous). We are still working on learning to eat cereal. She doesn't hate it, but she isn't wanting more!!
Annalyse did go in for her 4 month check-up. She is healthy!!! She weighed (at the time) 14.7 pounds and was 24 1/2 inches long. She was in the the 50th percentile for weight and height. The shots were bad for just a second. She does need to start working on sleeping through the night (haha). I think that is more for my benefit!

Fun on the Beach

Seacrest, Florida 2010

Well, we made it!!! We made it to Florida before the oil hit. We were so afraid that we would get there and the beaches would be full of tar balls. But it was beautiful white sandy beaches that we are always use to in Florida. Gigi, Mimi, and Papaw went with us. This made it VERY nice having extra hands to help with Annalyse. Annalyse did GREAT!!!! She did really good on the ride there and back. It helped having Gigi or Mimi sitting back with her. She did well on the beach too. We had a large canopy and put her pack-n-play under it every day.
We stayed in a wonderful home. The house was in Seacrest, Florida. I think we have found an area that we will always stay around HWY 30A. Such a neat area and not commercialized. The house had a fabulous porch that stretched across the back of it. There were white rocking chairs and a huge hammock on the porch. We spent many hours rocking and watching the waves. Olivia Grace had a ball swinging on the hammock.
Olivia Grace had a terrific time as always. She loves building sandcastles with her Daddy. As I was building one with her she informed me that her and Daddy always built beautiful ones (I guess I didn't meet her standards).
It was a wonderful week. I am so glad that Mimi, Papaw, and Gigi got to spend the week with us. We just hope that the oil doesn't ruin such a pretty place.

Our dear friends Aunt Karen and Uncle Troy came to visit us for the first time since we have been in Fayetteville. They have always been like 2nd parents to me. They both just adore Olivia Grace and Annalyse. The next time they come we want to spend the night with us and stay longer. It was great to see you both!!

The Lake

Well I think Annalyse is going to be a lake girl just like Olivia Grace. Friday evening was her first time in a life jacket and in the boat. She did great!!! So when it came time for us to go out on Saturday, I was wondering how she would be when it was hot and sunny. But again, she did not ever cry!!! Yeah!!! That means we can enjoy the summer on the lake. Olivia Grace loves the lake. She got to tube and swim. She kept telling Papaw to go FAST!!!! The little "dare devil" also did a front flip off the back of the boat. I was shocked. She has no fear. We did ask her not to do that again (just a LITTLE dangerous)!!!

Dance

Well, Friday was OG's last "regular" dance class. They will be going on Thursday nights for 2 weeks until the recital. So we took all the girls to the park for a picnic and play. Olivia Grace says she doesn't want to do dance again. This is her 3rd year. I would love for her to continue, but if it isn't her thing I won't beg. I will ask her one more time when the fall rolls around. I like going every Friday because I have made some really great friends. I always look forward to that hour of Mom talk.

This past Tuesday was Olivia Grace's last day at Wee Care. We went to Wilson Park to celebrate their last day of school. Olivia Grace had a wonderful teacher (Mrs. Burris) this year. They did so many neat themes throughout the year. This was OG's 3 year to be in the UBC's Mother's Day Out/Preschool programs. We loved every minute of it. We will miss all of the teachers and staff.

Cereal Time

Last night we gave Annalyse rice cereal. She did OK. I think we might have gotten a little down her. Olivia Grace was so excited to be able to feed her. You know feeding a real, live baby doll!!!

4 Months Old

That's right she is 4 months old!!! Oh, Annalyse is getting so big. Her little personality is showing (sweet like her big sister). I have to say she is SO easy going. I guess she has to be as much as we are on the go and as much as OG is in her face. She just lights up when Olivia Grace talks to her. Annalyse still has some "issues" in the car. But I think she might be beginning to "tolerate" it a little better. She loves to suck on her hands and clothes (and still her passy). We've started sitting in her Bumbo (she likes it). She prefers her tummy over her back. We are still waiting on her to roll over. This month she did start taking a bottle again!!! Not really sure how much she weighs, but she is gaining because she is getting more and more sweet little rolls. She will be going for her 4 month appointment soon. Oh she is such a blessing!!

Mother's Day

Well I had a fabulous Mother's Day! We started the day at church for Annalyse's baby dedication. This was so meaningful on this special day. I was so blessed to have Brent's family, my Mom, and my Grandparents there. After church we came home for a great lunch. I couldn't have asked for a more perfect day!!! I have been blessed beyond measure.

Sawyer

Happy 1st Birthday Sawyer!!! Saturday we headed to the Greenfield's for Sawyer's first birthday party. It is so hard to believe he is already 1. It is also hard to believe that he was in the hospital a week ago. Poor little guy was just so sick. But he is better now!!!! Happy Birthday Sawyer we love you!!!!

The Chicks Are Gone

Well the chicks are now all gone. We lost one several weeks ago. We think a cat came into the garage and had a little snack. Olivia Grace first said that it probably flew away, but Brent told her the truth. She was fine with it and told everyone what had happened to her chick. Well, yesterday something "got" the other chick. It was a little sad, Olivia Grace was going to show Gigi, Mimi, and Mamaw her chick when we got home from church and when she went to show them it was gone. She wasn't upset. All she said was well I guess a cat ate that one too!! Well, I hope it was a good experience for OG. She was always proud to show her friends her chicks and she had to take care of them.

Branson With Mimi and Papaw

Over Spring Break Papaw and Mimi took the 3 big grandkids to Branson. Olivia Grace could hardly stand waiting until they got to our house to pick her up. They went to see the Noah's Ark play. They said is was wonderful. The kids paid close attention to the story. They loved seeing all of the animals. They stayed in a hotel so they got to go swimming. The next day before they headed home they went to play putt-putt. Thanks Mimi and Papaw for a great trip!!!!

The Weekend

This weekend Gigi, Aunt Ellen, and Jordan came to see us. We had a great time, even though the weather was stinky!!! Saturday we had planned on going to Razorfest, but the rain put a damper on that. We did manage to make it to the Red/White game. We met up with the Greenfield's at the game too. Annalyse made it to her first Razorback game too. She was in her Razorback outfit but by the time the game rolled around she was soaking wet from spit-up and drool. But at least we got some cute pictures in their new shirts before.

Chicks

Well, I have lost my mind. Or I guess you can say it was a "weak" moment. But our family has grown. We now have two chicks (Micky and Minnie). They are from Farm Friends. Our dear neighbor was going to get her daughter some last night and wanted to know if OG wanted any. I first said we would take a duck because we could put it out in Mimi and Papaw's pond, but they had already taken them home. So we ended up with 2 chicks instead. So Brent made a trip to Wal-Mart late last night for a heat lamp. I really didn't think they would make it through the night , but they DID!! So now, what do you do with chicks? Yes, they are cute now, but they get larger and they poop. We don't really have a plan with what we will do with them when they outgrow their plastic tub. I know for sure I don't want them for their eggs or for friend chicken!! I guess for the mean time OG is excited about them!!

Field Trip

Yesterday Olivia Grace's school went on a field trip to Farm Friends. It was so neat!!! We got to see so many animals. OG got to milk a "pretend" cow. She even got to brush a goat. It was such a great learning experience. Highly recommend going next year if you live in NWA.

Busy Saturday

This past Saturday was a very busy day for the Silvey family. We started off with Ava Claire's 2nd birthday party. The kids had a blast playing in a huge inflatiable catepillar. Olivia Grace did not want to leave. Happy Birthday Ava Claire!!!
After the party is was off to Olivia Grace's last soccer game of the season. She got a soccer medal that she is so proud of. Not sure if she'll want to do soccer again next season, but she enjoyed it this year.
After soccer it was off to Anna Kate's 4th birthday party. She had an ice cream party. The kiddos had fun making their own yummy sundae. Happy Birthday Anna Kate!!!

Annalyse's Nursery

Well we are finally finished with Annalyse's nursery. I am so happy with the way it turned out. When we first started thinking about a nursery I knew I wanted something BRIGHT. With Olivia Grace's nursery we went the soft pink and chocolate route. After I found the bedding a wonderful/talented friend Pam came up to help me with some decorating ideas. She is an interior decorater for a very prominant family in LR. She gave me so many great ideas. So a big thank you to Pam!! You're the BEST!!! I guess I am most proud of the bookshelf that Brent made. Pam gave us an idea of what would look good and Brent went with it. He drew out his plan and built it. I think it is just wonderful. Between the two shelves is a toybox/book nook. Mimi made the curtains. She did a fabulous job, as always. Thank you Mimi!!! Brent did all of the labor and I did all of the shopping!!!! We hope that Annalyse likes it someday too!!!!

Nursery Artwork

This is the artwork that is in Annalyse's nursery. My friend Keri painted the canvas for the door. She came to the hospital after Annalyse was born to write all of her information on the canvas. I got so many compliments from everyone at the hospital. It is just what I wanted. Thank you so much Keri!!
Brent and I made the initial board that hangs above Annalyse's bed. My dear friend Pam gave us the idea. Brent cut out the letters for me because I couldn't find any that were large enough. We painted them lime green and add a little bling to them. I am so happy with the way it turned out.
My dear friend Jaime painted the ballerina legs for me. I sent her a picture via cell phone of a painting I had found a year ago at a children's boutique in Alma. I have to admit the picture wasn't good, but she did a fabulous job. I just love it!!!

3 months old

Oh I just love this little girl!! I cannot believe she is 3 months. She is just perfect. Yesterday we were at the clinic and she weighed 12.5 pounds. She is getting a few little rolls. She no longer has little chicken legs. She still does not like the vehicle. I don't think it is the car seat, because she doesn't mind sitting in it at other times. It is when the car is in motion that she cries. I don't know why, but I sure do wish we could figure it out. You know we are in the car a lot of the time and a screaming baby is not good for the stress level. Annalyse is beginning to reach for things at times. She's trying to figure out how those little fingers work. She also likes her "silky." She will suck on it and her bibs. Nursing is actually going well (did not with OG). However, she does not like taking a bottle now (not good). I have got to start trying a bottle with her more often. It just has been easy nursing her. That is something we will work on this month. This past Sunday she stayed in the nursery for the first time. She did really well!! Annalyse is sleeping in her bed now. She has done really well. Olivia Grace is just as crazy about her as we are. She has been so much fun to watch with Annalyse.

Spring Soccer

Olivia Grace played spring soccer this year. She enjoyed playing again. Can hardly believe it will be over this Saturday. I think her next sport is going to be tennis. She says she wants to do gymnastics and tennis this summer.

Branson

On Wednesday we headed to Branson. We had a "front row" seat to the water/light show at Branson Landing. We had a balcony that overlooked the show from our room. Olivia Grace loved sitting out there and watching the shows. She almost liked it as well as swimming in the pool. It so happened that I forgot OG's swimming suit. So Brent had to run downstairs to buy one. Like the girl needed another swimsuit. I also "happened" to forget mine (intentionally)!!!!

Olivia Grace still just loves a hotel!! After a big breakfast on Thursday we headed to Silver Dollar City. The weather was just wonderful. We had a great time riding the rides. We also saw an amazing acrobatic show from China (it is World Fest right now). It was unbelievable!! Annalyse did great. They have nursing rooms at SDC, which made it nice for feeding. It was just a great day!!!

A day at Papaw and MiMi's

This past week Brent was on vacation. So on Monday we headed to Papaw and MiMi's house. The boys don't go to school on Monday so it was perfect for the kids to play. We did a little of everything. The kids hunted for Easter eggs (the boys had already hidden them when we got there). Then we headed to the pond for a little fishing and paddle boating. Brent told me they already had gotten worms. I assumed that meant they went into "town" and bought some. No, I was wrong OG told me they dug for them under cow poop!!! No, I'm not kidding!!!!!!! It was a beautiful day to spend time with our family.

Sip-n-See

After church and lunch we all headed to see Dukes. He was also having a Sip-n-See for our family to meet Annalyse. It was a bitter/sweet time. I had not been to Beebe since my Nana had passed away. She would have loved to meet Annalyse. The last phone call I had with her was to tell her I was pregnant. She was so VERY excited. So this sip-n-see was for her. She would have wanted to "show off" her newest great-granddaughter. It was a fun time seeing family and friends. Thanks Dad for a great day!!

He Is Risen!!

He is RISEN!! I am so glad that I serve a God that is ALIVE!! My prayer is that my two girls will one day have Jesus Christ in their hearts.

We went to church Easter Sunday with Gigi at our home church in Little Rock (Geyer Springs First Baptist). The service was wonderful. It was great to be back home to worship on Easter Sunday (we did miss our church though).

Sip-N-See

This past weekend we went to Little Rock. We had not been there since November, so it felt good to go back home. On Friday night we went to see The Kingdom at our old church. Gigi and Aunt Ellen were both in it. It was a wonderful program and it was good to see many friends. I didn't really know how Olivia Grace would handle the beating and crucifixion of Jesus in the program, but she did great. We had been doing the Resurrection Eggs for the last week, so we had been talking about what Jesus Christ did for us. I highly recommend the Resurrection Eggs if you don't have them.

On Saturday Gigi had a wonderful Sip-N-See for Annalyse. So many of our dear friends came so that they could meet Annalyse and see Olivia Grace (and of course their Mommy). Gigi had everything decorated so springy. It was so much fun "showing off" my two girls!! Thanks Gigi for a great day!

Saturday afternoon we went to Anna Caroline and Lauren Elizabeth's birthday party. Anna Caroline came to OG's horse party and she wanted one too. OG had so much fun. They got to go on a hay ride and ride on some pretty BIG horses. OG rode on Sunday. He was a HUGE horse. I am so glad that it worked out for us to be in LR for the girls party. Happy Birthday Flaming girls!!!

We finished off Saturday evening with the tradition of dying Easter eggs. This year we had two really neat dye kits. First we dyed the eggs then we had these metallic rub off sheets. They made the eggs really pretty. The other kit you put glitter on the egg after you dyed them. It was a great Saturday!!!

No Training Wheels

Olivia Grace learned how to ride her bike without training wheels!! It honestly took 30 minutes for her to learn. Now, we aren't riding down any hills and she does need a little push to get started. But she can do it!! I decided to take the training wheels off her little bike. Thought that might be easier for her to learn on. She also learned that she does need to wear her elbow and shin guards. Way to go Olivia Grace!!!!

Easter Party

Last Thursday Olivia Grace had an Easter party at school. The kids each got to help put icing on a bunny cake and then they decorated it with candy. After they ate the cake we headed outside for an egg hunt. The kids had a great time!!

Gigi has been in town for spring break. Yesterday we headed to Tulsa for lunch, shopping, and the aquarium. Mamaw and Papaw had already planned on going to Tulsa for Mamaw to shop. 2 Months Old

I am just a little behind on blogging. Annalyse is now 2 months old (actually it was a week ago Saturday). We have loved every second of her - even in the car seat. This month she has started smiling, cooing, and a little laughing. Olivia Grace loves seeing her smile. She knows just the right things to say to her and has the sweetest little voice when she talks to her. Some of the things Annalyse likes are: being HELD, her swing, bath time, her passy, and someone to talk to her. Some things she doesn't like right now (but we hope to change REALLY soon) are: riding in her car seat and a taking bottle.

Annalyse went for her 2 month checkup last week. Dr. Denton says she's just perfect. Her weight is 10 lb 15.5 oz. Her length is 22.32 inches. Her sweet little head was perfect too (15.24 in). She fell in the 50% for weight, height, and head circumference. She also got her shots. Not fun!! Olivia Grace said she wanted to hold her hand while she got the shots, but as soon as the nurses came towards her with the shots she let go. But she was there for her little sister with moral support. Annalyse screamed for just a second and then cried for a little bit. She didn't have any other problems with the shots though. She is one perfect little baby girl!!

The Weekend

This past weekend Dukes, Aunt Ellen, and Jordan came to Fayetteville for a "baby fix." It was a great weekend. Olivia Grace had her first soccer game of the season, so they got to see her play. She was so excited for them to watch her. She did a great job and made several goals. After the soccer game Brent, OG, Jordan, and Dukes headed off to the Razorback basketball game. They had great seats (4th row). Too bad they LOST in the last minute!! While they were at the game Ellen and I (and Annalyse) went for much needed pedicures!!! We finished off the day with dinner at home and roasting marshmallows over a fire. We had a great visit and they enjoyed being able to see Annalyse and OG. Thanks for coming!!!!

First Time at Church

Today was Annalyse's first time to go to church. She did really good - slept the entire service!!!!I was so glad to be back at church too. Six weeks without being in God's house is just way too long. Brent and I have been so blessed to have 2 beautiful, healthy girls. It is our desire to raise them in a Godly home and church is the best place for them to learn how to be followers of Christ. Our prayer is that Olivia Grace and Annalyse fall in love with God's word and come to know Christ as their personal Lord and Savior.

Jaime Visits

Saturday my old roomie Jaime came to see us. She and another sorority sister, Heather, drove in from Benton for the day. Jaime couldn't wait to get her hands on Annalyse. She also brought a special gift for Annalyse. It is something special for the nursery. I will post it later when the nursery is completed (it is getting close). I am really excited about it!!! So we spent most of the day at home (just a little shopping). Then our other roomie Jo Ann came over. It is always great for the three of us to be together. Anita met up with us for dinner that evening. It felt so great to be out of the house with the "girls." Thanks Jaime for making a special trip just to see Annalyse.

Razorback Gymnastics

Friday night Anita and I took the "big" girls to the Razorback Gymnastics meet. First we took them to dinner and then headed to the meet. I was really impressed with the gymnastics. Olivia Grace's attention was not kept as well as I thought it might be. There was a lot going on in many areas and it didn't start until 7:00pm, so that might have been part of the problem. Well, and not to mention that as soon as we got there she thought she needed a snack. But it was a fun girls night!!!
